Rally Master Pro available as free download on Satio and Vivaz

by Ernest Doku

If you like your driving to be about dodging foliage and burning through country roads as opposed to pottering around autobahns and fancy drift manuvoures, good news because famed Fishlabs rally game Rally Master Pro is now available for free on Sony Ericsson's Symbian-powered Vivaz and Satio phones.

Showing off the raw power of the PowerVR SGX graphics chips found in these handsets, Rally Master Pro has you kicking up dirt across the globe, with Fishlabs CEO claiming the game to have 'better than PSP quality' graphics.

With the game running at a solid 30 frames a second and an insane level of attention to detail to the point where flecks of mud and dust clouds are drawn with a real time particle physics engine, you're just a nervous co-driver shouting numbers at you away from the real thing!

Rally Master Pro is built into the latest software update from Sony Ericsson or can be downloaded from the PlayNow Arena for nothing, provided you're a Satio or Vivaz owner.

Whilst the Samsung Galaxy S shows off the power of Android gaming on the most gorgeous of displays and the Retina display proving the iPhone 4 deals capably with high-def digital entertainment, it's reassuring to know that Symbian more than holds its own when it comes to replicating the experience of dedicated handhelds.
