by Matthew

Fring announced today they have recuited several "fringentators" to report live from Bejing. Olympic fans will surely want to head over and check out another exciting way to follow your favorite events. Bejing is +8 GMT, quite the time difference for those in the Western Hemisphere. Keep reading for the announcement Gil from fring sent out this morning.

The Olympics countdown is on, and our dedicated on-site fringsters are ready to bring the highlights and low down from the Olympics field and village… Day and night, our users can receive real time text and images updates via fring from our very own fringentators (commentators, correspondents, play-by-players, unruly news distributors, etc) from the Olympics fringAdd-on (developed using our very own API) .

Here’s the fring commentator team on site in China …..:)

  • Alexander Rusakov – Gold medal contender this games! This Russian trampoline champion is going to be fringing away when not focusing on the gold medal he is tipped to win!
  • Oleg Zaporozhchenko Jr. – The Russian Olympics team coach & international category judge!
  • Fei Wen – Malaysian Olympic volunteer and coordinating the onsite fring effort – thanks!!!
  • Tania Teoh – Malaysian Olympic volunteer and avid fan of lots of sports including swimming, volleyball, badminton and more! Udi Moshel – Israeli sports obsessive… I mean, enthusiast… will be keeping us all updated with sports and social updates across the board from the fields and other online circuits!
  • Agus Jose – Our Spanish sports and travel devotee will micro-blog about both with the added insight only a professional psychologist can offer

For more info, to review miniprofiles (with quite accurate caricatures) of our fringentators and keep tabs on their feeds from our Olympics page (available Aug. 7). fring Olympics is to go live Aug. 7.

(BTW: the service is free, the content is free and users can subscribe to as many add-ons as they want)
