Meet N Greet 2.0

Twitter can be more than just a great way to waste time, it can can also help you network and meet new interesting people; there was one of these opportunities this past Saturday in the Dallas area. While attending this particular event I had a good conversation with Neal Campbell, husband of Cali Lewis of Geekbrief.tv fame about his N95 and iPhone. In addition to Cali and Neal, several others from casual Twitter users to podcasters and everywhere in between. If you haven't attended one of these kind of events, you are doing yourself a disservice and missing a great opportunity to meet a wide variety of interesting people in your area. If you're not on or into Twitter that's OK, there are still other many ways to connect and meet with people into mobile devices and other topics e.g. Mobile Monday, Meetup, Upcoming If none of these work for you do a search for "user group" and your city from your favorite search engine. The groups in your area may not have a visit from someone as notable as Cali, but can still be a wealth of information and a great way to have conversations with people that "understand."
