LinkedIn Goes Mobile
by Darla Mack
LinkedIn announced on their blog that they have made their site accessible to mobile users. Users can now access their profile, job search and more using the wap protocol on their devices.
The site has demo's showing how to use the app on an iPhone.
Now it seems that although they have a killer iPhone special version, when trying to access it on my N95 and N82 it seemed to freeze up and lose web connection. I was able to view my own profile though but wasn't able to view my contacts. Since it's still be beta im sure (or at least hoping) that they are doing something to work out the kinks so that it can run smoothly on other devices, but hey its a great start.
I noticed your LinkedIn profile. All this time reading the Diva and I never realized that you were just down the road from me. I was living in New Bern until last year when I moved to England. Still get back to visit my parents.
I imagine writing informative Nokia columns like yours is difficult enough from the States but writing from eastern NC. Wow! LOL Kudos to you!!
Wish I had you to consult with when I was figuring out the best way to get my desired nokia in New Bern. ;-) Love your blog. Keep posting and I'll keep reading. John x

Hey John,
Wow, New Bern is very near to me. Would have been to great to meet up with another Nokia enthusiast. Lol, those are very rare to come by down here and even though I've tried converting people not only to Nokia but GSM it seems like alot of breath wasted. But I keep on trying. :)
Thank you for your support and maybe we'll cross paths one of these days.
