Welcome Back Jukka!!
by Darla Mack
Jukka has been back and forth when it comes to S60 blogging. You may have seen his name on several of the S60 blogs and had even been the beginning host of the S60 Multimedia Blog. He had vanished for a bit but has now returned and will be hosting the Mobile Web Server Blog!
I've been a fan of the Mobile Web Server since it's beta back in June and have been tinkering with it since then.
Jukka has announced that there will be an update to the application which will include many new features such as Presence and Chat. (see Jukka's mobile site here)
I'm happy to see Jukka back and I wish him luck on the future of the Mobile Web Server Blog!!!
Thanks so much Darla! This is in interesting challenge personally and also for my S60 device since it's going to get a lot of traffic now :)

But what do you use the mobile web server for? I just can't think of a use for it :| I mean, I see how it works from your previous description but why would you put a personal web site on your phone? Is the idea that you sit in Starbucks on the WiFi and wait for people to stumble across it?

Boy i installed this app on N95 and i gotta tell you, web servers are for desktop like machines. it is over kill for sharing pictures, contacts and blogs. The app is pretty heavy on Nokia memory.
Also i do not know how practical it is for someone to KEEP web server running to share content. Not to mention you have to have WiFi for decent viewing experience.
Uninstalled for now. Just wanted to share comments!
Thanks for telling us.
