Making Strides - Support The Fight Against Breast Cancer
by Darla Mack
As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and its right around the corner. The Nokia Flagship Store in Chicago is putting their best foot forward in their walk against Breast Cancer by participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. I'm honored to know these brave people and if it were within my power to walk with them I would.
Since this is a personal request of mine, I am asking all of my readers to help them reach their goal in their fight against Breast Cancer. Nokia will match donations 100% and I encourage all of my readers to please donate. No amount is too small.
If you are in the Chicago area and wish to join Team Nokia Chicago please feel free to check the site or contact the store. For more information please visit the Team page. You can either support the whole team, or chose one of the members from the roster to support.
Whatever you chose to do, please do it from the heart.
This one's for you Marge!
EDIT: Nokia will match all eligible US-based permanent, full-time employees gifts ranging from a minimum of $20 to a maximum of $5000 each calendar year. Gifts are matched on the basis of donations made, not pledges or commitments.
Great cause Darla, thanks for helping to make the community aware of it!

Thanks for getting the word out, Darla! So much can be accomplished if we work together. Recent advances have helped so many, now we need to find the cure.

Marge, it was my pleasure. I've passed the word onto other bloggers as well so hopefully we can do what we can to exceed that goal.
I agree that we must do whatever we can to find a cure.
