Talk About a Nokia Collection!
by Darla Mack
About 2 years ago I wrote a post inquiring as to where the mobile phone collectors are. I've heard Nokia enthusiasts talk about the previous phones they've had and used but if there is a market for it to be sold then thats where it ends up.
Anssi Hautabacka, whom I had the pleasure of hanging out with at CES, sent me a pic of his Nokia Collection and as you can see it's huge!!!
Wow... can anyone top that?

I see a Sony Ericsson there...
It's being selled? Or what you ment with "it to be sold then thats where it ends up."?

OMG. He is very elite a Nokia collector of phones I think, yes. :)

She's talking about phones in general. People talk about how they used to have this and this phone, but they sell them instead of keep them.
And thanks for posting that up Darla :D. I'm expanding the collection all the time with new phones :)

Good collection but i have a different approach. Sell your old phone to get some money, add more money and buy a latest phone.

Although they are all pictured separately, I think the ultimate collection is at www.nokiamuseum.com. The site owner claims to own over 300 (out of 556) Nokia phones!!! Some of those old bulky models are a real trip down memory lane.

@Aris, Where on the site does it say that the person owns them all? To me it just looks like a collection of all of Nokia's phones, but it doesn't say that they are owned.

I am assuming the person owns them because it's stated that there are 337 "in collection" (all the checkmarked ones?) of which only 8 are dummy phones. If you look at each phone individually it states whether they are in collection as well as where they were purchased.
All of the phones in collection are also all photographed the same way: against a plain white surface with the devices turned off; some of them with some use and wear and tear quite evident - they sure aren't press shots.

Many of the Nokia phones u see in the pic...well I had them too. But,of course,I've sold them in order to buy another, and another and another. The models I still keep are the 7110,the 3310 and the 8310.These I will never sell.Why?Well...the 7110 was my "Matrix" phone, lol. The 3310 is "waering" the beautiful Artic Blue X-press On cover(I just adore it).And the 8310 is my precious.Talking about being a Nokia freak:P

That's definitely not ALL Nokia phones ever made. Just over the the last couple of years, Nokia has been introducing about 40 or so new models each year. My own Nokia collection is a bit more modest in size, about 10 phones or so.
