Nokia N81 Images Appear

by Darla Mack

Images have been surfacing around the net but none as clear as what I found on Mobile Mentalism
N81 The much awaited slider will make its debut on August 29th.

When I first saw the the viral markering site properly named for its arrival date, 070829.com, I was left with a bit of a 'Saw' like scare.  But what was even more interesting was the words in the RSS feed.

...just an important theory, but also a crucial part of how this consumption is perceived at present. Everything eventually merges to a point where it more or less becomes inseparable due to the dawn of new technologies. Everything we have known, as one replacement; ultimately being able to do the job of each other. This may spawn patterns that cannot be exchanged, but generally entertainment will merge into whatever a user may request. This fusion...

Talk about keeping people in suspense!  I've heard that besides being the first Nseries device to offer the N-Gage gaming platform,  the Nokia N81 also offers a new ui enhancement, dedicated gaming keys, new nokia search and new music player.

Guess we'll have to wait a few weeks to find out!

Yeah, I'd heard the dedicated gaming keys rumour, but now that we have the pictures... where are they?

It seems like someone has mixed up dedicated music controls with dedicated gaming controls. Perhaps someone saw the word "playback controls" and thought that meant gaming?

The only way they could be hidden away on that phone is if it's a double-slider like the N95.

Do you want to see what looks like the future Nseries site of the n81? Look at this:

When all the parts are joined if you push "pause" you could see the animation of the phone...
