Nokia Settings Configurator

by Darla Mack

Email_setwiz_header_left I've probably mentioned this in the past, but seeing as how many forum members and users that come to my site have been asking how to send settings to their devices, I figured I'd put a section on my sidebar for you.

The Nokia Settings Configurator sends your MMS, Internet, GPRS and WAP settings to your device over-the-air.  It has support for several countries and providers including the US and Canada.

Other options are available such as Email and the Nokia Software Market bookmark (which offers you 20% off).

Weave

I was pleasantly surprised that the wizard that ran when I first fired up my n95 figured out the provider on connection to t-mobile, asked me a few questions, and set up everything needed for me (GPRS, MMS, Internet, email)

That link still useful though. I added another email account with it and changed the access point to t-mobile VPN.

Another useful thing is the isync plugin for the n95 available on Nokia's Europe site. The current version of Mac OS software doesn't support the n95. This adds it.
