Nokia Nseries Software Launcher

by Darla Mack

Nseries_software_launcher_2I very seldom take out the CD's that come packaged with my devices.  Usually because I assume that it only contains the normal pc software such as PC Suite and usually the versions that are available on the website are more up to date then whats contained in the package.

The N95 however, came with a new pc software tool called Nseries Software Launcher.

What this does is check your pc to see what Nokia PC software you may already have installed and gives you the option to install the software that you don't.  For example, I already had PC Suite, Nokia Lifeblog and Adobe Photoshop Album installed.  It gave me the option to install the Home Media Server which I did.  Then it creates a nice little system tray icon where all of the apps can be accessed from.  Pretty cool, right!

The only thing missing there was the Software Updater, but we can always find that in PC Suite.
