Vox Mobile App for S60
by Darla Mack
The recent announcement of Vox being integrated into Nokia Nseries devices was great for current and new Vox users. Having options intergrated saves on memory by not having to download a separate application. But having a downloadable application gives options to users of certain blogging platforms such as Typepad, which came out with its mobile app in August, to perform mobile blogging.
To utilize the intergrated Vox download the Vox configuration file. Transfer the .cfg file from your computer to your Nseries device using Bluetooth or PC Suite (using data transfer mode). The file will appear in your messaging inbox folder, and when you open the message, the Vox settings will be installed on your device. If Gallery is already running on your device, then you'll need to exit the application and relaunch it in order to see your Vox account on the "Open online service" screen.
Zach of S60 3rd Apps, tells us that amongst the hidden pages of the Vox knowledge base lies installation links for S60 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition devices. Meaning... you don't need an Nseries to Vox!!

Hey Darla. I was browsing HoFo and they posted a thread on this. But they provided a different download. It actually adds the app under Online Services which can be brought up through the Gallery instead of a regular app that can be found in My Own folder. Heres the link.

Im leaning more to using the app version. The online service version crashes on me everytime I try to make a post whether it be via Media Net or WiFi.
