Skype Spain to Launch Symbian Compatibility
by Darla Mack
(TP) Skype will be compatible with a new mobile telephony operating system in Spain from September, reports Actualidad Economica. Skype, the voice over internet operator, already offers customers in Spain the possibility of downloading Skype for use on mobile phones with the operating system Windows Mobile 5.0. This allows free calls to be made to other mobiles with Skype by connecting the mobile to a Wi-Fi network. According to Alberto Lorente, managing director of Skype in Spain, from September, Skype will also be compatible with telephones equipped with the operating system Symbian, which is used by Nokia.
