Free Text Messaging (Web-based)

by Darla Mack

When I first started blogging I used to have a script that I used with Moveable Type that enabled my vistors to send me a text message.  After my host disappeared without any warning I lost the script.  Couldn't even remember where I found it.

I'm an easily frustrated person so if I search for something it won't be for long.  I think the last time I did search it was for about 2 hours and then I gave up.

Today I happen to be playing around with my Google homepage and searched through the content that you can add.  I came across Txt2Day which is a service that provides free text messaging here in the US.  But one of its features allows you to add a text message box to your myspace or website.

(form removed due to spam messages)

You can easily customize how you want your box to look and as you can see I just chose to keep mine to match my template.

While I really miss the original method that I used, this is also a good option.
