Motorola Pink RAZR a la Maria Sharapova

It's funny the number of emails and im's I got today asking if I was gonna get this phone when it comes out. The answer is... I don't know!
Engadget reports (and let me just say that I heard it from TechieDiva's first) that the Pink RAZR by Motorola will have Maria Sharapova's signature on the trunk.
Its not so much that yes there is a Pink RAZR becoming available to whomever endorsed by whomever, I think its the fact of how she flaunted it that leaves a bad vibe with me.
Tennis tart Maria Sharapova writes "I was showing off my cool pink RAZR phone to everyone. They were all so jealous. I had to apologize because Motorola made it special for me. Sorry! You can’t order them."
Sort of cocky if you ask me, Nicole Ritchie has one... but she isn't claiming that Motorola made it especially for her. (guess she took some hints from Paris who never claim exclusivity on her blinged out SKII) I hardly doubt that Nicole is using a Pink RAZR with Maria's name on it. Even Trent over
at Pink Is The New Blog (which is a really kewl site by the way) was able to get his hands on one... so doesn't it mean that its not a limited edition or exclusive?
Ok enough of the celebrity blah blah blah. It's a Pink RAZR, it has Maria's signature on it, and its um... exclusive or something like that... for now!
Maria, I love you! those long long legs! I don't think I want a pink phone though

Hey guys... I know there are many people interested in purchasing this phone at the moment. If anyone has T-Mobile US I would suggest holding off on buying it. For the rest I definately suggest to STAY AWAY FROM EBAY!!! There are some reputable sellers out there, but with recent hackings going on, you can't even trust them because items are being listed without their knowledge.
I would search around the net, but you might not be too pleased with the price. I think I wrote before about an online store selling them for over $1000 which is WAY TOO MUCH MONEY!!!
I haven't gotten to the review as of yet, but if you know anything about the regular black and silver RAZR, then the magenta (pink) is really nothing special except for the coloring.

hey i called tmobile about the pink razor phone and the guy doesnt know when it will come out...some people say nov 14 2005 others are sayin dec 23 2005 but i definitely want to get it. its also goin to b limited availabitlity so good luck tryin to get it

ok well hears the scoop........ you can only buy the black or silver razer and the pink is just a cover! and i also heard that the covers ruin your phone, and then they wont take it back!!

maria is my ultimate heroine...trainin to become what she is today usually bout 4-7 hrs a day... she sure is the biggest inspiration to me...
yes i am gettin the fone just cos she has it... any problems i didnt think so.

No its not just a cover, trust me. Some T-Mobile stores already have them in stock, so I'm assuming that they will be available "Black Friday". I will try and get a photo to post. Lol, just be patient.

That is great that you have Maria to look up to and I applaud you in your training, but I think you've mistaken this whole thread. No one said that she wasn't a kick-ass tennis player. And by all means, no one said that I am better then her. This was just to sum up the false statement that was made by her for all the people that are interested in getting the Magenta RAZR. If you have a problem with that, then by all means you don't have to stop by my blog.

Well, I saw them posted at $198 by two celeb gossip mags, and I keep hearing cingular will have them repeatedly. Since I have Cingular, that was my only concern, I dont know anything about T-Mobile having them. Yeah I like pink, but u can download MP3s on them too. woohoo.
