Samsung Omnia HD2 i8920: Symbian^3 Handset Gets Leaked Photo and Specs
by Ernest Doku
Ok, so it’s not the greatest photo of a handset, and there are no guarantees as to the validity of the report which leaked from Mobile-Review forums,
but if you’re a Symbian fan (which we highly suspect) you’re going to
be interested to hear that Samsung’s forthcoming handset looks to be
sporting the new Symbian^3 OS, previously only seen on the Nokia N8.
In terms of hardware, the Omnia HD2 looks extremely tasty too, with a whopping 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 12 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi connectivity and at the choice of either 16GB or 32GB storage.
Another sweet point is the Omnia HD2’s ability to shoot 720p HD video at 30 frames-per-second. That’s something not even those of you lucky enough to have iPhone contracts are able to do!
Again, no guarantees on the validity of the reports – the picture even looks like a dummy phone, but fingers crossed this is bona fide – specs like that make us drool!
We’ll let you know more info on the Omnia HD2, as it develops.
