Calling All S60 Ambassador Enthusiasts - The Doors Are Now Open
by Darla
After the initial pilots in New York and California, S60 and Nokia have opened the doors to new applicants and according to Dan's post, no geographical limitations are applied.
The current Ambassador pilot is all about Ovi Share, which some of you may already know about and if not read here.
S60 Ambassadors are consumers of S60 software (in other words, people who own an S60-based Nokia, Samsung, LG, or Lenovo phone) who want to know more about S60 and want to spread the word about S60 to their friends, family, and occasionally to strangers in the park.
About S60 Ambassadors Pilot on Ovi Share
This pilot is all about Ovi Share. After signing up you'll get more information, but in the meanwhile check out the Ovi Share site and download your Ovi Share client here »
And don't feel bad if you don't like toast... I'm sure you can get by that bit of red tape.

I find it so annoying that they go and say "no geographical limitations are applied." yet the Ovi service in share online 3.0 isnt available in India and there's no .cfg file to download and use like with Flickr ( which also isnt available in India ).
Sigh. I just dont get Nokia sometimes.

Cj, I'm from Chennai and am using Flickr on Share Online without any problems. Once you add Flickr to your providers' list in the Share Online app, you should be directed to the Flickr site, where you can download the cfg file. Try again!

I'm taking back my earlier comment. The new version of Share Online is indeed unavailable for one of the largest mobile phone markets in the world.
