Wow it's finally here!!! 2008. Yay!!!
Last night I received over 42 messages from people around the world, and usually I'm the one that likes to get my messages out in time. I guess I'll have to make up for it next year.
One of the fun things that I did in the hours leading up to midnight was to entertain my kids with a Nokia olie but goodie java app. Since they inquired how long it would be until 2008 I figured the quickest way to show them was to use the Nokia New Year's Eve countdown clock. Nokia NYE was first announced in 2006 when Nokia had their NYE party around the world. But the application never went dormant. It's been counting down since 2006.
