Posting to Typepad Using Nokia's Online Share

Recently Carol informed us that the Nseries Online Share application has been given an update.... YAY!! The new update will allow Flickr users to sign in with their Yahoo login information, plus adds a spot for tags. 

This version 2.0 of the Share Online client now allows account creation with regular Flickr/Yahoo login, introduces tagging support including an on-device tag database, plus a few other improvements.

Since my Lifeblog application wasn't working properly, I decided to search out Typepad's API and test it out to see if it works using the Online Share app.  BINGO we have progress!!!

Typepad users simply go to Online Share > options > Add New Provider.

Provider Name:  Typepad
Protocol:  Atom

Since there are different API's for what you chose to use within Typepad such as Weblog's, Photo Albums or Typelists make sure you select and input the correct URL.

Weblogs:  http://www.typepad.com/t/atom/weblog
Photo Albums:  http://www.typepad.com/t/atom/gallery
TypeLists:  http://www.typepad.com/t/atom/lists

Once you input your username and password all of your Typepad weblogs will be displayed, as you can see in my image.  Finally... a way to post to Typepad through Online Share!!  Unfortunately for those who have already had their Flickr and Vox settings all configured, you must redo this once installing the Online Share update.  Also for those needing the settings for Twango you can find them here.

I tried googling Wordpress Atom API but I didn't come up with any settings. I'm really not familiar with WordPress, but I do hope someone can share the info here.
