Frozen Bubble for S60 3rd Edition
by Darla
One of the games that I loved playing ever since I had my Nokia 3650 was Frozen Bubble. It immediately became addictive and it went with me on every device I carried afterwards.
At one point I thought that it would never be available for S60 3rd edition, but thanks to Elias Konstantinidis it is now available!
Frozen Bubble is a free download but is not scalable, so make sure that you download the version that's compatible with the screen size of your device. Currently, there isn't a version available for 320 x 240, but if you can overlook the black border then you should be fine.
You can download Frozen Bubble from http://fb-s60.sourceforge.net/.

I just clicked the link and lo and behold, there's a 240x320 version.

Sorry to inform that there is indeed a 240x320 version (no 320x240 for E61 users though) ^_^
It's right there in the download section, you can choose either fb_s60_3rdv0.94_240x320.sisx or fb_s60_3rdv0.94_176x208.sisx and some other choices for older S60 versions.

Lol, but I already posted that there is no 320 x 240 which would be the size for the E61 and E62.

Darla, thanks for the info! I love Frozen Bubble and it works great on the N95. It used to KILL the battery life on my Nokia 6600, so I'll be interested in seeing what effect it has on my N95's battery.

Yessssss!!
I loved FB on my 6600 and 6680 and have sorely missed it since I switched to my N80. Thank you for the port Elias Konstantinidis and thank you for brightening up my Monday morning Darla :P

Great news, this is one of the best freeware S60 games out there. Thanks for letting us know Darla!

This was the primary game I used on my 6620. I missed it sooo much. I hope it works fine in 352x416!

I love this game. I used to have it on my computer years ago. Very addicting. It is much easier to play on my N73 with the joystick than my N76.
