The Nokia and Mac Relationship
by Darla
I learned something interesting while in Chicago. Most of the employees at the flagship store have an Apple background. This is a good thing. There is a Macbook in the store and staff are able to educate consumers on how to make their devices work with Mac products.
With the introduction of the new Media Transfer application Mac users can now transfer pics, videos, podcasts, music and files between their Nokia devices and Mac's. Unfortunately, this is only workable with Nseries devices but since the application is still in beta maybe future devices will be supported.
Nokia's pace at full mac support is moving a bit faster and in stages which is a good thing and might even get more pc users interested in purchasing Macs. I'm not a Mac user and in the past one of my reasons was that I wanted full support for my devices.
With the Nokia and Mac relationship growing stronger I've become interested in becoming a Mac user. Lol but nothing extraordinary... I have to take baby steps.

I came across this excellent hack from Joshua King last night.
This makes the Nokia Media Transfer application for Mac compatible with E-Series devices!!
It's fairly easy to apply and works great (on my E61)!
