Evening with S60 Chicago
by Darla
Well I finally made it back home safely after freaking out about missing my initial flight out. I was reassured that these things happen sometimes.
The Evening with S60 event was a blast!! Unlike NYC people came in from everywhere!! I love putting faces to the many names that I've seen on blogs, forums, im's and emails that I receive from readers.
Phil and Dan pulled it off again with the help of Bridget and her amazing staff at the Nokia Flagship store. I can't even get into the tone of the event but I can tell you that Yahoo makes one hell of a Yahootini!!!!
Along with the hopes of seeing more Flagship stores in the US, I encourage all to stop by and visit the stores if you are close to them. I can't stress enough the benefits of being able to walk in and choose the device that best fits your needs. Trust me.... the staff won't mind if you hang around for a few hours :)
Phil, Dan and Bridget put together some AMAZING SWAG!!!! Bluetooth keyboards, bluetooth headsets, Digital pens, S60 notepads and more were given out to the participants. Interesting discussions with Ganesh about the S60 Browser were constantly going on.... it took me about 45 minutes to get to him and by that time (plus the kick-in of the Yahootini) I wasn't focused on the question that I initially had for him.
Images from the event can be found here and here.
I'd like to personally thank Phil for getting me out to Chicago and Bridget and the gang for putting up with all of us S60/Nokia junkies!!! See ya at the next event!!

I'm glad you were able to make it back ok! It was great meeting you and Amy sends her best as well. The event was really well done and can't wait to make the next one. Talk to you soon
