Just Found Another Reason to Love Google Calendar

by Darla

Mobilecalimage Ironically I was having a discussion today with a buddy about Google Calendar and the fact that I don't use it.  I'm more of an Outlook calendar kinda gal, but for those that love Google Calendar, you'll be happy to know that its gone mobile!

According to the Google Blog:

We realize that more people in the world have mobile phones than have computers, and people take their cell phones with them everywhere. Since one of our main goals on the Calendar team is to make planning your events and maintaining your schedule as easy as possible, starting today, you can access your Google Calendar account from your cell phone!

Just visit calendar.google.com from your phone, and you'll see your agenda of upcoming events, complete with details like date, time, location, description, and guest list.

Well I know that I'm going to check this out a bit more, but I also know there are many Google Calendar users that are happy to see this!

Yes, this is a step in the right direction for Google enthusiasts, but when will we see Google Calendar SyncML capabilities? That's what I really want. :)

I think Goosync is a better solution for this.

Also, if you want to sync with outlook, ical, etc check out Calgoo. Ive has my rund with a lot of products that sync with gcal and so far its been the most consistent (and its free!).
