Nokia N75 - Whats Taking So Long?

by Darla

N75_2 The one thing I hate about US GSM providers is how long it takes to release a device.  The N75 was announced last September at Open Studio in NYC.  Since then we've had appearances, even with its retail packaging (which Symbian-Guru was asked to remove for respective reasons).

T-Mobile hasn't had a S60 device in its line-up since the availability of the N90 here in the US.  Although offered by CompUSA T-Mobile still offered the device.  Call it consumer frustration, but here's the thing... we have consumers that are waiting and wanting to switch providers just for the sake of the device.  I know its only 4 months, but remember that N80 that Cingular was supposed to get ages ago that we still haven't seen?

Cingular is the worst when it comes to bringing in your own device.  The in-store customer service will swear up and down that certain services will not work because it is a device that they don't support.  Could this be the reason why we chose to use our own devices?  And in this sort of situation... who do we complain to?
