Creating Screensavers for S60 3rd Edition FP1

by Darla

ScreensaverI'm noticing that now since I actually have a FP1 device handy I can try out many new ventures of S60.

Thanks to some reading on Symbian-Freak, I decided to check out the informational videos from Forum Nokia.  Watching the video on Creating Screensavers didn't seem so hard so I think I'll start with that first.

Forum Nokia provides tools for alot of development.  I'm not a pro at developing and usually put off things like that.

The video introduces and explains the creation of screensavers for S60 3rd edition FP1 devices such as the N95.  This can be done either alone of incorporated into the creation of themes as well.

If this is the route that you would like to try as developments go, I'd suggest that you start with these 3 videos:

So how did your trial go, Darla? I'm interested in hearing what happened. Did you manage to build a theme? What did you think about the tool?
