Wouldn't It Be Cool If...

by Darla

You could watermark your images on your smartphone before uploading them?

With the amount of blogging that some of use do and uploading directly from our devices, it would be a nice feature to have.  Simple enough it would only be about using a saved transparent background image that you would store on your phone and merging it into the image that you choose to upload.

About a year ago I found out the importance of watermarks when some of the images of phones from my TextAmerica blog ended up on ebay.  After my trip to the Nokia Store it was suggested that I watermark my images.  With the amount of pics that I took I spent most of the time on the train back home trying to edit them, but I didn't have the patience for that.

The N93 is a powerful imaging device and more recently my main device for imaging.  Incorporating a feature such as watermarking would be a great tool to add to both images and videos.  I wonder how hard that would be?

Indeed that would be a nice feature... as a last resort I typically use my SnagIt tool. The process involves dumping all the pics to the PC (via PC Suite), watermark in batch using snagit, upload to flickr... takes only a couple of minutes. IF you don't already have snagit I highly recommend it.. I'd be lost without it!
cheers

Thanks Glenn, I'll definately give that a try!
