Manhattan Story Mash-Up - On The Run With The N80

Oren over at the S60 Multimedia Blog infoms us of the latest thing in multimedia fun. 

Manhattan Story Mashup is an urban storytelling game where around 250 players will run around Manhattan armed with Nokia N80 cameraphones, taking photos which match a given target.  Targets are words from stories, written by you and other visitors on the web site collaboratively while the game goes on.  After they are finished the illustrated stories are then shown on the large Reuters sign in Times Square in real-time and on the web site.  Man I wish I was in Manhattan for that!!

The game which starts September 23rd was designed by Ville Tulos, a researcher at Helsinki University, and Jürgen Scheible, Forum Nokia Champion and advocate of Python for S60.

Manhattan Story Mashup is organized by SensorPlanet / Nokia Research Center and is part of the Come Out and Play street games festival.
