Will Nokia Make Their Sensor App for S60 3rd Edition?
by Darla
The reason that I'm asking is because I love this app. Sometimes it makes a trip to the mall or being stuck at the bus terminal while travelling to NY a bit more fun.
I recently received a Club Nokia email and it looked like the N91 running the sensor app. Anyone have any clue if this is accurate or maybe some news on whether Sensor will be available for 3rd edition?

I am not allowed to comment about apps that are not launched, sorry...
But just being curious: have you actually found other people using the Sensor app, in USA? :)

I use it at conferences where there is more of an international crowd.

Well, I can comment: I just downloaded it to a Nokia 5500 Sport via Catalogs application.

Thanks for the update, Jukka! Hmm, unfortunately the Catalogs app isn't available for the N91.

Darla, you can safely install one of the 3rd Edition versions which are available. I don't know if Sensor is there for N91, but no harm trying right? :)

I have just come across Nokia Sensor and thought it was some brand new application.
I have sifted through Catalogs on my N95, but I am unable to locate the Sensor app.
Would somebody mind posting detailed instructions how to find it on Catalogs - alternatively post a link or send it to me at gersbo[at]gmail.com
Cheers, chris

I just realized the previous comments refer to two different »sensor« apps. Tommi, Scott and Darla refer to Nokia's social bluetooth interaction app (http://europe.nokia.com/A4144923), while Jukka refers to an app for the Nokia 5500's 3D sensor.
