Nokia 6708 Gets FCC Approval

Nokia_6708_1On November 18th the FCC approved Nokia's first UIQ handset.  The Nokia 6708 is the first of the Nokia's to use the UIQ interface which is most popular in the Sony Ericsson smartphones.

No news has been mentioned as to whether this phone will make it to the US since it was first mentioned to be available in the Asian market.

The UIQ version 2.1 is loaded on the Symbian OS version 7.0. The 2.6 inch TFT display shows 65,000 colors and has a 208 x 320 pixel resolution.  The handset will recognize both English and Chinese handwriting. In addition to the 18 megabytes memory, the handset also has a SD card slot which can accomodate a 2GB card. As for connectivity, the phone is well equipped with Bluetooth, Infrared and USB.

just bought the 6708 in Shanghai, but I need an ENGLISH MANUAL! 6708 isn't listed on Nokia website as far as multiple searches I ran. Anyone know how to get an english manual, soft or hard copy?
