Nokia N90 for Cingular?

by Darla

Nokianseries_302The Nokia N90 was never said to be available to a service provider here in the US.  Previous news on the device had it being available for purchase only through Ritz Camera.  Could it be possible that Cingular will pick up the 2-megapixel cameraphone?

Well Cingular must be jumping the gun by having the device listed on the Equipment Protection Program Page, but as stated by MobileTracker, "there are other phones on that page that never made it onto Cingular, such as the Motorola E680 and various Sony Ericsson P series models. So take it with caution, but it's possible."

I won the Nokia "Own It First" sweepstakes here in the US and recieved the Nokia N90. I'm still playing around with it and may write a review soon. By the way, they sent it with a prepaid T-mobile SIM. But it also has a connection wizard to program it to run on Cingular's UMTS Network.
