Swapping Providers
By DarlaNow something like this I like to see. Now being able to just get out of your crappy contract and pick up another with just a change of responsibility. I don't think that this in no way overrides the credit check procedure, but it may just get you out of paying the ETF from one end and the Activation Fee on the other.
Well Celltradeusa.com
provides and easy “out” (or “in") to this common dilema. Basically
allowing people to “swap” cellphone plans with people looking for what
they have. Could this be the eBay of Cellphone contracts?
Celltradeusa.com has pioneered a new cellular category that will forever change the way the world views cell phone contracts.
We have developed the world’s first online community that gets dissatisfied cell phone customers out of their service contract. Celltradeusa.com provides this service through an incentive based system that connects millions of cellular customers nationwide that want to Get Out with those that want to Get In.
So, no more posting on message boards, asking friends and family and sometimes even strangers to take over your contract. Celltradeusa has made it simple for people to get out of their contracts and even get into the one they want.
This service is currently available to US and Canadian customers.

I've heard about this service before. It sounds good, but I think I recall someone saying that it takes forever for the contract to be transfered.

Just thought I would through in my 2 cents about celltradeusa :-) I was referred to celltradeusa.com by a manager in the customer retention dept at Verizon Wireless. I used the service about 5 weeks ago and it did work. I went through a couple people before I found someone credit worthy to Verizon's standards. Total time took about 1 week "lol" but I would say I was very happy with the service. I also used the site to get into T-mobile contract that someone else had that only had 4 months left " boo yah " plus he gave me blk razor, blue tooth, belt clip and car charger. The transfer process took about 30 minutes and was really easy with T-mobile.
So I would say I`m a fan for life :-)
Thx,
MC
