Agile Messenger No Longer Free?? WTF!
by Darla
For 3 years since its release, mobile phone users were in total glory at the fact that there was a free messenger client. Applications such as IM+ was out-used due to the free service. Even last year when T-Mobile started blocking ports due to the T-Zones mishap, users complained about 2 programs that they were unable to utilize; Opera and Agile.
According to the announcement on the company website, Agile will start charging a monthly license fee of small monthly fee of €2.99 Euro per month which will be applied directly to the phone bill. It also states that the price may vary from country to country.
Agile Messenger is currently the most widely used and feature rich instant messaging and communication tool for mobile devices in the world.
Yeah, don't you think its reached its popularity status because it has been FREE all this time????

Well.. so much for that. What's the next free IM tool?

If I have to PAY for an IM app, it's certainly not going to be Agile.

Agile is worth every dollar they are asking for it...its not even that expensive! I paid like 30.00 I believe for perm unlimited use. I know this original post is old and it mentioned something about Agile and Opera have stopped working with Tmobile. Well eventually i guess through upgrades, it started working again.
About a week ago, aprox 07-19-07, both my Agile and Opera stopped connecting again. DOes anyone know of any fixes or alternatives to use till these work again...if they ever work again?
