Today Nokia announced their first dabble in the Tablet market with the new Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.

    via: Nokia Press Release

New York - Today Nokia introduced its first device in the new Internet Tablet category, the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet, at the LinuxWorld Summit in New York. The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet is a dedicated device optimized for convenient Internet browsing and email communications in a sleek pocketsize format. The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet features an impressive high-resolution (800x480) widescreen display with zoom and on-screen keyboard, ideal for viewing online content over Wi-Fi. Aside from Wi-Fi, the device can also connect to the Internet utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology via a compatible mobile phone.

I think this product can be best summed up by Michael Oyr from MobileBurn... since I'm completely speechless at the moment.  According to MobileBurn the estimated price is $350.00 making it an affordable 2nd pc option.

One thing that caught me (besides the estimated price) was the connetivity.  Even though this is a non-phone related device, connectivity can be made through the use of bluetooth and a compatible handset (for people like me who do not have the luxury of wifi!)

Since I'm still in the drooling phase, I suggest that all readers hop over to MobileBurn so that you can drool too!!  In the meantime... check out the specs:
